一是要用心用情体悟习近平总书记对广东、深圳重要讲话和重要指示批示精神，进一步增强忠诚拥护“两个确立”、坚决做到“两个维护”的思想自觉、政治自觉、行动自觉；二是要用心用情体悟习近平总书记关于国企党建、改革发展，关于建设海洋强国重要论述精神，进一步增强以新担当新作为勇担新使命的责任感荣誉感；三是要认真学习领会省委对海洋经济战略部署、市委对盐田港集团工作要求，深刻认识盐田港肩负的新时代历史使命，努力干出新成就

胡朝阳表示，要坚持问题导向，找准找实工作着力点和突破口一是要看清自身优势，这些年来，广大党员、职工的拼搏进取为集团发展打下了良好基础，盐田港成为全球集装箱吞吐量最大的单一港区，“盐田港”金字招牌蜚声中外，业务范围不断丰富、分布区域快速扩展，正从一个区域性企业向全国性、国际性企业迈进；二是要正视问题不足，这些年来，无论是与全国国资国企纵向比，还是与市属国资国企横向比，集团发展速度还是太慢，近十年主要经营指标年均增长率远低于市属国企平均水平，一定要清醒认识到当前存在的不足；三是要坚决推进改革，唱好定战略、调结构、配机制“三部曲”，朝着超千亿规模、跻身中国企业500强的奋斗目标大踏步前进，奋力实现打造全球影响力卓著的海洋经济综合服务商美好愿景
胡朝阳强调，要坚持结果导向，努力续写“开山填海”新故事，向市委市政府交出一份优异答卷一是要切实加强政治建设，牢牢把握正确政治方向，把讲政治体现在一言一行上；二是要高举旗帜“闯”出新天地，把建设全球海洋中心城市主力军、生力军的重任扛到肩上，向堵点难点发力，做新时代的“拓荒牛”；三是要奋发有为强化落实，把全部心思和精力都用在干事业、谋发展、抓落实上，始终保持奋发向上的干事劲头，领导在前带头干，党员冲锋做表率，在集团转型升级、高质量发展的关键时期作出应有贡献
